Audiko | Ringtones Galore

Richard | April 2, 2009

audiko

audiko logo

Audiko is a simple service which helps you to make a ringtone of your favorite songs! Simply search for a song – pretty much any song – and chose your format (mp3, m4r, amr). Voilà, your new ringtone is ready for downloading. You can even upload your own songs, cut and crop them online and instantly download them to your computer.

The best part is, that you can drop a link or a YouTube-URL and audiko rips the song from the links destination. It is the easiest way to create, edit and crop ringtones for your mobile phone. And yes, iPhone users are more than welcome!

Thank you, Mr. Mansio

The most basic features are included in the free plan, but if you really want to be a secret agent, you might wanna check out their paid plans, as well.

We are definitely waiting for TrapCall to come to Europe. Many punks in Europe.

Richard | November 1, 2008

Three years ago, Pandora emerged from the early ocean of upcoming Web 2.0 ventures soon to be known worldwide. Since then, many intelligent, automized music playing and playlist generating concepts were spottet. Now, there finally is one with some fundamental backing: MTV MUSIC.

Since MTV was there from the beginning, you will also find rare vintage videos from The Mamas & The Papas, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, and many, many more…

Doodle | Easy Scheduling

Richard | September 9, 2008

Doodle helps finding suitable dates for group events, e.g., an appointment, a conference call, a family reunion, etc. Doodle is particularly useful to people who do not use a common calendar. In addition to scheduling events, Doodle also supports polls in general.

That is, groups can conveniently decide on options other than dates: the movie for the next movie night, the logo of the new Web site, the restaurant for the Christmas dinner, etc.

Doodle is a Web-based service which is free, requires no registration and no software installation.

Weblin | We Make The Internet a Village

Richard | August 17, 2008

Weblin is a new way to interact in the world of web 2.0. After registration you create a small 2D avatar which travels with you as you surf the web. The avatars can look like real people, fantasy figures and much more and show up at the bottom of the browser’s screen, where you can start chatting and interacting with other visitors on the same page (if they have weblin).

The creators of weblin are based in Germany, however, the website and the controls are available in multiple languages – including chat room localization.
As weblin is still in beta, the service is only available to Windows users, but there is a weblin.lite version for the rest of us.

Richard | July 3, 2008

Radar.net is a website that allows users to share pictures and videos. Only those people chosen by the user can then view the uploaded content. It is targeted at people who use mobile phones with cameras to take pictures.

The site has been redesigned recently, adding more functionality and a bunch of new features. One of this features is My Radar, which is the hub of the new site, and where you’ll find the latest posts from all of your friends (both groups and individuals) and Gallery channels you subscribe to: everything on your Radar. From My Radar, you can also access and manage your friends and subscriptions by selecting the appropriate link on the left-hand side of the page.
