[update 12:00 GMT +1] The friendly guys at iPhone Dev Team took the cake and already cracked the iPhone 2.0 software version. The first one took a couple of months, but this one was actually unlocked before Apple released it to the public.

Tomorrow, July 11, a new era begins. For some interesting Apple fans, at least. The new iPhone 3G is being released, and as always, everybody is watching. Watching, as well, are the blogs, media sites and mac forums, which are specifically reporting on the last couple of days before, and – of course – the days after the awaited release of their favorite gadget.
