Bowler Wild Cat

Tired of constantly making a decision between the speed of the Aston Martin and the space and off road mobility that only a Land Rover can offer? Well my friends, look no further. With a 300 hp, 5.0 litre TVR / Range Rover hybrid motor, coupled with 4 wheel drive and an insatiable thirst for gasoline the Bowler Wildcat would make even the most hardened hippies wet their pants.
It will out perform a Aston Martin DB 7, Lamborghini Diablo VT or a Lotus Elise, if given the possibility it will pull you up to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. If by that time your passenger is screaming her head off, there is ample room in the boot next to your skis and her matching luggage set to calm her down whilst you pound the miles (given it will probably be the only thing you’ll be pounding for a month).
Although not the prettiest of vehicles and most definitely not one of the more modest options for a family garage, it will at least put a smile on your face every time your foot even moves in the gas pedals direction.
Although pricey, the basis model begins at a cool 52,500 pounds, there is no doubt that the next time you get stuck behind Lady and Lord Fauntleroy on the mountain pass you will never have to hesitate to overtake again.
Safety is also a key point, one which I believe is a great selling point for this brute. It comes with a 4 point racing harness and roll cage able to withstand the torture of the Dakar rally. But enough with my fascination of this vehicle, I believe that the best way to understand the potential is to watch a small clip from our friends at Top Gear.
